Basic Scanner Setup

This assumes that the scanner is initially empty of all slides.

Turning On

1. Turn on Computer 2. Turn on Scanner

Common Errors

  • Do not hit keyboard spacebar while any process running. This will immediately stop any Scanning process.
  • Red light on tray with Preview Scan
    • Open door, open error tray and check that rack is loaded correctly with no material on slide holed.
    • Replace rack, close door, re-run Preview Scan. See if error (red light) is replaced by OK (green).
