	Following the scanner relocation an international opening meeting was held in Berlin ([[DEC Berlin Meeting 2017\|'''Monday 11 December''']], [[Media:DEC Berlin Meeting 2017 Program.pdf\|Final Program PDF]]). It was well attended by DEC member representatives and was an ideal opportunity to discuss progress, technical issues, the online database, and research applications based on the scanned slides. I would hope that we will be able to hold similar opening meetings in ~~teh~~ future at the new scanner locations.
